As communication skills are so important with the work we do, covering letters may be judged on their use of language, spelling and grammar, as well as their content.

Recruitment Agencies Take Note

We do not use agencies or job boards for recruitment. We therefore do not accept solicitations by phone or email from recruitment agencies.

Specific Positions Available

CSS & HTML Developer - £25-30 /hr

We have have a requirement to expand our production team and are looking to bring on another contractor to turn graphic PSDs and convert into W3C valid CSS & HTML.

This role is UK-only and the successful applicant will need to work from home and have their own software and systems. Working from home requires remote communication with the rest of the team and therefore the role requires a perfect grasp of natural English.

Training and support is provided and payment is on a project basis. The successfull applicant will posses the following skills:

  1. XHTML
  2. CSS
  3. Basic Javascript
  4. Basic PHP knowledge

 

Contract PHP Developers (Intermediate and Advanced) - £275+ /day

The intermediate developer will expect to earn £275+ per day and the advanced developer will expect to earn £300+ per day, both depend on skills and experience.

Both roles will work from home and require the successful candidate to possess their own equipment, software and the following skills:

  1. PHP 4/5
  2. Apache servers
  3. Fedora Core 5
  4. CentOS/Linux
  5. MySQL
  6. XHTML 1.0 to W3C accessibility standards
  7. XML
  8. CSS 2 & 3 capabilities, again to W3C standards
  9. SVN
  10. Javascript

 

Always Recruiting Role Details

Freelance CSS & HTML Designers - £25+ /hr

CSS & HTML designers applying to A7 should possess their own equipment, software and the following skills:

  1. CSS (1, 2 and 3) to W3C validation standards;
  2. XHTML 1.0 Transitional to W3C validation standards;
  3. Any PHP knowledge, however basic, is a bonus.

Freelance Web Designers - £25+ /hr

Web designers applying to A7 should possess their own equipment, software (e.g. Photoshop/Fireworks) and the following skills:

  1. Photoshop CS3/CS4
  2. Knowledge of CSS construction of websites
